There are various types of course abroad.
The most appropriate depends on your interests, age and language level.
The programs on offer are: language courses, secondary school or high school, technical courses or specializations, undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Language Courses

Language courses are the most popular study abroad programs. These include general language courses, which cover all levels of language proficiency, from beginner to advanced. Other options include: preparatory programs for proficiency exams, language courses for specific purposes, programs for minors and seniors, and language courses combined with tourist, sporting and cultural activities.

Vacation Program

Courses with sports and leisure activities for teenagers during the school vacations. The student spends 1 to 2 months abroad studying the language and doing activities. Accommodation is either at the school itself or with a host family. Meals are included. This is a program that promotes language learning, develops maturity, and interaction with cultures from all over the world.

Technical Courses

Technical or vocational courses are taken at colleges. This type of course aims to enable students to enter the job market more quickly. The courses are modular, divided into Certificates, Diplomas and Advanced Diplomas. The duration of the courses varies from 6 months to 3 years. There are also a few options for technical courses lasting 3 months. Certificates (Certificates I, II, III, IV) are shorter courses, ranging from 3 months to 1 year. Diplomas are longer courses, ranging from 1 year to 2.5 years, and Advanced Diplomas have an average duration of 3 years. The courses are offered in various areas such as: Technology, Administration or Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Tourism, Hospitality, Gastronomy, Technology, Sports, among others.

Graduation

Universities abroad have a degree format very similar to those in Brazil. Most courses last 3 years. Some more specific areas, such as medicine and law, last longer and can take up to 6 years. There are public and private university options, but for international students all universities are fee-paying.

Postgraduate

Postgraduate courses abroad are modular. Completion of each module gives the student certification. The minimum study period or duration of each module is 6 months. Generally speaking, postgraduate courses abroad are divided into programs called: Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Master. Despite the name "Graduate", the programs refer to postgraduate studies.
