Air tickets

Airline tickets are offered to all destinations in Brazil and around the world, for students and tourists of any age.
We work with the main national and international airlines, such as: TAM, GOL, Air Canada, South African, United Airlines, Spanair, Qantas, Aerolíneas Argentinas, Japan Airlines, TAP, Alitalia, KLM, among many others.
As an exchange agency, we operate with student rates, which offer greater savings.

Ticket reservations are made automatically by accessing our operator’s reservation system.
The following information is required: passenger’s first and last name, desired destination, and departure and return dates.
It can often be essential for us to be flexible with the dates of departure and return in order to search more efficiently for fares and confirm flights.
Depending on the purpose and urgency of the trip, we recommend flexibility of 3 to 10 days in advance or postponement of the requested date.
The further in advance you book, the cheaper the fare and the greater the availability of dates.
Remember that in high season ticket prices tend to increase and some date confirmations become more difficult.

Reservations are usually valid for 48 to 72 hours, depending on the availability of seats on the flight.
If you don’t request a ticket within the validity period of the reservation, it is automatically canceled.

This first booking is to get an initial idea of prices and flight availability.
Remember that the further in advance you book, the better the fares.
If there is no interest in issuing the ticket, the reservation is automatically dropped via the system.

To change the date of a booking or a ticket that has already been issued, you just need to confirm the passenger’s new departure date.
It should be noted that often, depending on the availability of seats on the aircraft, there may be differences in prices.
In the case of reissuing a ticket, in addition to the fare difference, there may also be rebooking penalties.
It is important to always pay attention to the issuing rules for each ticket, which detail the information regarding cancellations and rebookings.
Some airlines allow a first rebooking free of charge, but this depends on the fare rule.
It should be noted that in high season, it is not advisable to change dates, as the sudden increase in demand makes it difficult to confirm new dates.
We recommend that all passengers, tourists and students who are traveling to a country that requires a visa, have the visa in hand before issuing the ticket.
This is to avoid refunds resulting from denied visas.

All tickets are issued via the system, following the mandatory fields for the passenger’s personal details and the ticket details.
If the system is down or if for any other reason it is not possible to issue tickets via the system, you should contact the operator by phone or e-mail, depending on the urgency, requesting that the booking be issued.
They should also inform you whether or not there are any changes to the reservation, confirm the prices, boarding fees, dollar exchange rate and payment methods.

All airline tickets are priced at a fixed dollar rate called IATA (International Air Transport Association).
This is an exchange rate stipulated by the International Air Transport Association and used only for ticket quotations and sales.
The value of the IATA dollar is similar to the tourist dollar.
Tickets can be paid in installments by credit card, ranging from 3 to 10 times, with or without interest, depending on the airline.
At the time of purchase, the amount is converted into Brazilian Real according to the dollar rate of the day, and payment is always made in Brazilian Reais.
Boarding fees are included in the first installment of the card.
It is also possible to finance the ticket by check in up to 12 installments, with an average interest rate of 1.99%, subject to credit analysis and approval.

For cash tickets, all booking details must be confirmed, such as: date, destination, first and last name, as well as the price of the ticket and boarding fees according to the exchange rate of the day.
After that, you need to confirm all the personal data you have entered by filling in the sales closing form.

For tickets to be issued by credit card, a scanned copy of the credit card and the passenger’s ID is required.
If the ticket requires a down payment, proof of deposit is required.
This down payment usually varies between USD 100 and USD 200.
The documents can be presented in person or by e-mail.
For all card issues, a credit card debit authorization document must be sent.
All documents must be sent via e-mail to our central office.
Then you have to wait for the credit card to be authorized and the electronic ticket to be sent.

Each ticket has its own rules, depending on the type of fare and the airline.
Some allow rebooking of departure and return dates without fines, but this rule can often change, depending on whether the passenger wishes to make the change while still in Brazil, before boarding, or while already abroad for their return.
When they exist, the fines usually vary between USD 100 and USD 200, according to the airline’s policy, and in some cases there may also be a fare difference, see below.

NOTE: You should always be aware of the following situation: when we issue a student ticket, which is usually valid for 1 year, it is often difficult to book the return trip for the maximum date of the ticket, i.e. 1 year later.
This is because the airline system, for technical reasons, often doesn’t allow you to book for the following year.
In this case, the system responds with a maximum date available for booking the return, which is unlikely to be the desired return date, nor the maximum date of validity of the ticket.
When this happens, the student is responsible for rebooking in the destination country, directly with the airline.
This only happens for students who want to stay for a year; for shorter periods of stay, usually up to 8 months, we are able to book the return for the correct date within this period.

This occurs when the passenger wishes to change their departure or return date, and the same class is no longer available on the flight they purchased.
In this case, if there is a change of class, there will certainly also be a difference in the fare, e.g. a ticket initially bought in class D (Delta) no longer has seats if it is rebooked for another date, and only class N (Nair) is available, and the price of the ticket is not the same for both classes.
This is especially true during high season, when flights tend to be very full.

Ticket refunds are subject to the policies and rules of each airline.
Generally, for international flights, companies apply a penalty of USD 150 to USD 300 for cancellation, regardless of the reason.
The remainder of the ticket is refunded in full within 75 days.
Refund requests should be sent by e-mail so that dates and deadlines are always documented.

Before boarding, you need to check the airline’s rules, such as baggage allowance.
Many international flights have a limit of two suitcases, with a maximum weight of 32 kg, plus hand luggage.
Luggage exceeding this limit is subject to excess charges.
Airlines are usually strict about this.
Other important rules should also always be checked, such as ticket validity and fines for rebookings or cancellations.
Please note that the rules always change depending on the airline.
