Buying coins
We organize the purchase of various foreign currencies, which can be done in three ways: paper money, traveller’s cheques and the Visa Travel Money card.
Whatever the option, all foreign currency purchases are always made via the system.
Paper currency purchases are offered in the following currencies: US Dollar, Euro, Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, New Zealand Dollar, Swiss Franc, Yen, Pound, Argentine Peso, Mexican Peso and Chilean Peso.
Always with excellent rates and totally legal operations, we have partnerships with banks that sell the currencies in a wide network of offices in shopping malls, hotels, airports, among other places.
With the exception of the Euro and the US Dollar, it is always recommended to contact us first to check the availability of the currencies.
Available in US Dollars, Canadian Dollars and Euros, Traveller’s Cheques are insured against loss or theft and can be replaced immediately 24 hours a day.
Traveler’s Checks are also accepted as cash in various establishments such as hotels, restaurants, car rental companies and others.
Currency can be exchanged at banks and bureaux de change.
The VTM is an international, prepaid, reloadable Visa card that allows you to make withdrawals and purchases in more than 200 countries.
Withdrawals are always made in the local currency throughout the Visa/Plus network, which has more than 2 million ATMs in several countries.
Purchases work on the same system as Visa Electron, which has more than 30 million affiliated establishments.
There is no charge for purchases made by debit account.
Withdrawals are charged USD/€/£/AUD 2.50 / ARS 10.00 per withdrawal.
In this case, it is recommended that you make larger withdrawals to avoid successive charges.
The VTM is available in 6 currencies: US Dollar, Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Euro, Pound Sterling and Argentine Peso.
Another advantage of the VTM is the 6% IOF saving compared to a credit card.
The card has an immediate replacement system in the event of loss or theft and can be recharged as many times as you like.
There is no fee to purchase the card.
Initially, all you have to do is contact us, either in person or by telephone, to register as an individual.
Then inform us how much you want to credit the card with and make the payment directly to the card’s issuing bank.
The card can be picked up with the corresponding credit as soon as the payment is confirmed, directly at our branch or at the issuing bank.
The amount credited to the card will only be available once the DOC or TED has been cleared, which must always be made directly into the account of the card’s issuing bank.
The minimum top-up amount is USD/€/£/AUD 200.00 / ARS 1,000.00 and the maximum is USD/€/£/AUD 20,000.00 / ARS 80,000.00 per card.
In order to issue the card, it is necessary to register a financial guardian, who can be a family member or a friend, who together with the applicant will be the only people authorized to top up the card.
To recharge the card, simply contact us or the issuing bank directly, provide the CPF of the cardholder or the person responsible for the card, and the amount you want to recharge.
Then make a DOC or TED to the card’s issuing bank, after which the amount will be available on the card.
